As a general rule, a not-for-profit organization that is tax exempt and which is established to provide a benefit to others may conduct a raffle. Thus, charitable, educational, fraternal, service, veterans’ and volunteer firefighter organizations are organizations authorized to conduct raffles.
Car raffle tickets are $20 for 1 or $100 for 6. Winner will choose the car or $20,000 cash. Winner will assume responsibility for all taxes. Proceeds benefit the school. Winner need not be present to win. Drawing will be held after Mass on Sunday October 8, 2023
